Safari Overview

You shall be brought to this fascinating destination also located on the floor of the Rift valley. It is also refereed to as birds paradise . This is a chance for you to try and identify as many bird species as you can. Lake Baringo is a haven for birdwatchers with over 450 bird species recorded here.
Safari highlights includes

  • Boat riding and visits to Ruko Island Conservancy
  • Crocodile, Hippos viewing
  • Bird watchers paradise filled with large flocks of yellow billed storks, pink backed pelicans
  • Millions of greater and lesser flamingos – used to be seen at Lake Nakuru now are found here.

Itinerary Details

  • Day 1: Nairobi Baringo – Bogoria

    Depart from Nairobi and drive to Lake Baringo. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon exploration of the lakes. Visit lake Bongoria and view the geysers and other hot springs. Optional boat ride in this rift valley lake. Dinner and overnight in your hotel / Luxury camp.v

  • Day 2: Lakes Baringo Bogoria – Lake Nakuru

    The day shall start with an early breakfast. Thereafter depart Lake Baringo and have a leisurely drive to Lake Nakuru national park. Arrive in time for lunch. Game drive is scheduled in the afternoon . This shall take you to the lake shores . Possible sightings include Flamingo & other pelicans exists in millions , Buffalo, Warthog ,Leopard, Baboons, Giraffe and a nearby Rhino sanctuary hosting both White & black. Dinner and overnight in your lodge / tented camp.

  • Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi

    This is our last day of rift valley exploration safari. We shall have early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast check-out and drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon.
