Nairobi — Sirimon Gate — Judmaier Camp

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Mount Kenya National Park. After registration at Sirimon Gate, begin your Mount Kenya Sirimon Route Trek through the equatorial rainforest to Judmaier Camp (3,080m). Enjoy a gentle acclimatization hike in the afternoon.

Judmaier Camp — Liki North Camp

Trek through moorland landscapes towards Liki North Valley (3,900m). Enjoy spectacular views of Teleki and Sendeyo peaks, with unique alpine vegetation. This stage improves altitude acclimatization.

Hike into the scenic Mackinder’s Valley, one of the most iconic valleys on Mount Kenya. Arrive at Shipton’s Camp (4,300m), located below the main peaks Batian and Nelion.

Early morning summit attempt to Point Lenana (4,985m), the third highest peak of Mount Kenya. Witness a spectacular sunrise above the clouds. After the summit, descend via Teleki Valley to Met Station (3,080m).
